The Austin Music College offers music classes (North Indian Music) to students of all skill levels. At the college, students acquire necessary musical skills, knowledge and understanding of Indian musical concepts to contribute significantly to a musical life.
Learn to sing or play music on the instrument of your choice. All are encouraged to learn vocal music as well as training in raga (melody) and tala (percussion).
 
Our syllabus is most up-to-date with any recognize university form India.

FOUNDER AND INSTRUCTOR:  
AMZAD RAHMAN

Former TV (Doordarshan) & All India Radio (akaswani Delhi) artist Amzad Rahman was Adjunct music faculty, Penn State University, PA. USA. He was a disciple of India's renowned musician Pt. Prof. N. V. Pattwardhan (Gwalior gharana). He did "Bachelor, Master and Master of Philosophy in Classical Music" from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and Delhi University in India. He has been conducting music workshops, music classes and performing concerts throughout India, United Kingdom, Germany, Bangladesh, Canada and the United States. He worked with Music Director Pt. Vijay Raghav Rao, Salil Choudhary, Azad Rahman etc. and sung for Akashvani, New Delhi, India.
